You can arrange ‘deliberative forums’ on particularly controversial or difficult issues, or you can try and persuade your MP to arrange these.

Such forums (often called citizens’ juries or other names) consist of randomly selected groups of people who, usually over several sessions, hear or read expert advice on the issue at hand, deliberate at length on it and come up with a series of policy recommendations to address the issue.
